Growing up in Michigan, I only saw these 2x4 tree stands on the Charlie Brown Christmas special and thought it was just a Peanuts cartoon thing...Now that I live in the SF Bay area where Charles Schultz lived, it tickles me every year when I get my very own tree with a 2x4 tree stand!
