Rainbow flag

I received this note from Zoe's teacher Julie today..."Kelly's afternoon lessons this week have centered on flags~what they mean, why we have them, etc...Today, she invited them to create a flag that represents themselves, featuring symbols of things they like, what's important to them, etc...without further direction, Zoe proceeds to draw a rainbow flag. When I asked her to tell me about it, she said 'This is the flag that represents my house'. Damn I love your kid!"

You gotta wonder how much our gay pride has worn off on her, or whether she just really loves rainbows. Either way, learning this was pretty awesome!!! I'm amazed that she used the word represents!
